my newborn has been strictly fed since birth (is now 1 month), and I have som pretty horrible, sore and never healing . I only produce milk with one , so it doesnt really get a break at all...its in rough shape. So she didn't turn up to school the next day so one girl texted her and asked her is she was lying about it, it turns out her mum had her phone at the time and when she read the message she called back the girl to find out what her daughter was lying about. When the girl told her what her daughter had said she was so mortified and shocked, and ured the girl that her husband is a good man (because he is, i've met him and he was a real nice guy) and said she'll talk to her daughter. The girl has apparently moved schools. Is she actually crazy, why would you lie about that stuff? Is there something wrong with her?

i purchased the rifle today 2nd hand with diving bottle but i cannot charge the on-board air cylinder to the 200 bar max, its gets as far as 175 bar and will not go any further, the reading on the diving bottle says 180 bar when im doing this, do i need to get the diving bottle filled up?? im new to PCP rifles so its probably something basic that im messing up on, dont get me wrong, this is a really great PCP air rifle, and the accuracy is superb, i just dont really know what im doing with the pressurised air........any advice would be great.....? its the newer versiot with the quick fill, and the diving bottle is 300 bar NOT a 232......thanks!

Glad failure?

I have about 200 glads planted in 2 beds about 50 feet apart. The corms come from many different sources. One bed gets plenty of water and the other needs to depend on mother nature. (not particullary generous this year) They are in full sun. The leaves stopped growing at about a foot and started to have streaks of brown before totally turning brown and dying. When I pulled some up, I noticed that the corms have not grown and one was rotted or eaten. I have no problem with underground critters and I can see no insects. The plants have about 6 sq inches each. I have many other crops near and so far only the potatoes might be having problems. What am I dealing with here and what can I do? I have huge gardens. Some of the soil was brought in from compost piles from the county and some from my own animals. Help?

Help! Aggressive puppy. Only 4 months old.?

She has been like this since we got her 2 months ago. She gets possessive aggressive over things. It can be anything from a sock to a piece of plastic she finds on the street when out walkies. She will growl and try to bite us, drawing blood on many occion. Recently, she has even started doing this over other things like being put in her crate or getting off the furniture. You name it I've tried it. I've got to the point that I what rid of her but am scared her new owners will have the same problem and will move her along again or use harsh methods to train her. A lot of the techniques I have tried made a small dent in her behaviour giving me hope but she wised up to them and we're back to square1. We have tried some Cesar techniques, trade up with toys and treats, being more forceful in the voice etc. There's more things we have tried but there's so many I can't think of them right now. PLEASE help. It's either something that works or she's gone. When she is nice she is so loving.

I (a male) had the same problem. I'd get raw and bleeding between my and legs with white patches of skin that would liquefy. I was told it was a fungus, and they told me to keep it dry. The powder said it could cause cancer right on the package so I thew it away. Then I noticed my shorts were always wet from sweat, so I stopped wearing underwear, and it cleared up.. How to shift gears properly on a road bike?

A new bike shouldnt be too outa whack. No matter what gear ratio you are in, the bike should still function w/o horrible noises. Avoid the 'big to big' and 'small to small' combos. Big ring up front means you stay away from the big cogs in the back. Same with 'small'. A chain slipping off is a sign of a serious problem and you should get your dealer to look at it.

Dog bleeding from rectum?

A few days ago i took my dog for a walk and he could not poop (he did but it seemed like he did it all over himself), that happened a few days later again, and I found what looked like strips of cardboard when cleaning him up...now my sister took him for a walk and said that his was bleeding. I got so drunk the other day..i had nothing to eat for 24 hrs straight before I started chugging. So I was down 6 beers in one hr and I was GONE. and puked it all up and then some..everytime I opened my eyes I barfed. I came back, slept, woke with a headache. I didnt get anything in my stomach till 1 pm the next day ..a piece of pizza. Then for the next couple of days..every meal I ate i just couldnt eat as much as I am used to. I went to a buffet hungry and started eating..i was down 10 shrimps and I just couldnt eat anymore without feeling like I would puke it up cause I was so full. Of course after 3 days or so it was normal again. Is this normal?

i never sit up straight and always slouch. i make a conscious effort to sit up straight but then about 5 second later i find i'm slouched again. sometimes i will try to sit up straight as long as i can but after 30 secs m bike feels wierd and tired and i slouch again. any ways i've noticed my back is killing me latelt it hurts so bad. what could be causing this? could it be scoliosis? no one else in my family has this problem. what should i do abou this?

Kite Duelling ?

When I went to Brazil this past summer, you would see kites everywhere! But the ones they have there look and function significantly different from the ones I see here in the States. They would use this adhesive that had gl shards and put it on the string, and then duel each other. Whoever could cut the string of the other kite would 'win'. I'm 18, I've been playing tennis for around three months. I've been rated as a ntrp 4.5. Before you say that its impossible to do that, I've been playing baseball since I was 10, and hand eye coordination, and athletic ability wasn't a problem for me in tennis. All I had to do is work on my strokes, and i've been doing that 6 days a week/2 hours a day. Thats my only reasoning for how quickly i've improved. My forehand is very powerful and consistent, I can place it really well with decent spin, its my one big weapon. My backhand is consistent, but I can only strike it hard If I set up for it, it has lots of spin and is just a rally maintainer. I have to work on my net game and my first serve is very powerful, but I only get it in about 50% of the time and I'm still working on a kick serve. Do you think I could play Junior College tennis and transfer to a D1 college? Im still rapidly progressing.

My son is 2 weeks old today. Last week he was doing really good laying down awake, he would just quietly lay down looking around. Now when we put him down he starts to cry so I always pick him up because I don't want him to feel scared and alone. Once I pick him up he normally will stop crying right away and just look around. As soon as I put him back down, after making sure he doesn't have a dirty diaper and he's not hungry, he starts screaming again, and we start all over again till he's to tired to keep his eyes open. I've tried laying him in his crib, his swing, his cradle and his car seat..nothing..he just wants to be in my arms. Is this normal? will it subside? He did have jaundice and we had to stay in the hospital for 3 days but I stayed with him the whole time and did all his feedings and changes. Also he's starting to eat A LOT!!! He sucked both of my dry practically and cried until I gave him a 2 oz. bottle. The jaundice did cause him to lose 7 oz. but he has gained it back and a few more oz.'s as well. How do i get my palm centro to send and recieve picture messages?

You don't say how old you are, but I'm a retired teacher and I can see the problem here. You DO need space and time to yourself, and so do your parents. In your tiny apartment that is hard. You say you have your own room, though, so you are lucky. Your parents need to understand that you need time to yourself and you need to understand that things may not be going well for your parents right now, either. Maybe they have new jobs, or are still job-hunting, and the budget is in trouble, etc. You may not even know all their adult problems because they don't tell you everything in order to spare you the details. If I were you, I'd enlist my school counselor. He/she might be able to talk to your parents about your need to have some "alone" time every day (an hour or two, anyway.) In the meantime, I would also go home, help with dinner and dishes, and then ask if I could be excused to go to my room to do "homework." (If it's undone, do it and then relax. If it's already finished, go to your room anyway, and try to chill out. If you get interrupted...looking for socks, whatever...try to be patient and maybe the parent will be out of there shortly.) Lots of parents don't understand that teens, especially, need time to themselves. The school counselor or a trusted teacher, might be able to help them understand when they go for your school meetings.

She may be going through separation anxiety. Around this age, babies begin to get scared when alone or with unfamiliar people. Maybe you can move her bed to your room or try cosleeping for a while until she grows out of it. If that is what is bothering her, she will grow out of it quicker if you comfort her an let her know you are there. Sometimes though, babies find pain relief in being comforted. When you are happy your brain releases endorphins (a "feel good" chemical) which adults don't usually try before downing a few advil :) So maybe your hug and kisses are helping her through her teething pain. Advice needed on damp proofing house, urgently!?

Hi, in march i had a damp course put in my houe (victorian terrace) our outside wall is below ground level by about a meter and had the worst damp problem imaginable. We had this fixed apparently, some areas are still damp and we have large areas of salt growing on the wall. What should I do? This is a very complicated situation. My nephew is living with my parents. While my sister was pregnant with him, the father was killed. They were not married. I was d by a man when i was 17 i am 26 now at knifepoint and he is now serving a life sentence. after the i started heavily on drugs, ectasy, crack, alcohal, anything i could get my hands on. when i was 23 i met my now husband and just recently stopped doing drugs for good. i just gave birth to my first daughter in september she is 3 months now and the last drug i used was roxy's for almost a year and then it happened. on the way home from orlando a 2 hour drive for me i went into what i THOUGHT was an overdose. i thought i was dying from the roxy's. i called my husband made him stay on the phone with me and actually KIND OF controlled it the next to hours. i was SO SCARED of that happening again i quit cold turkey! i went through the withdrawls (horrible) but not scarier than a heartattack.....i have even quit smoking cigaretes because I find they make my heart start to race also. well being drug free with nothing in my system helped for a week or two then went out of town with my husband to his fathers house to lookk for a house to buy and i had another really bad one making it like my 4th or 5th one WITHOUT drugs in my system. that was scary cause i thought it was an overdose. well i went to the hospital told them i felt this warm sensation radiate throughout my whole body than my heart starts racing i cant sit down my face gets hot sometimes my muscles will hurt afterwards and the sense of impending DOOM like my DEATH is staring me in the face. they did an EKG and all kinds of tests and said they saw nothing wrong with my heart and it had to be panick attacks. but y after all i have been through NOW? in a way i am grateful because it made me stop doing drugs BUT i want my life back, i HATE constantly worrying when and where the next will happen what if i am home alone with the baby? this is the SCARIEST thing i HAVE EVER BEEN THROUGH in my whole life. i feel alone and defeated. I just need to know what anyone thinks i should do. i dont know about anxiety meds never liked zanex and they make you SO sleepy.........what if its NOT anxiety? please someone respond?

Fair Isle seed stitch?

I am fairly new to knitting but have picked up on the basics and a couple advanced techniques pretty easily. (I'm a quick study ^-^) Being the impulsive young lady that I am, I'm trying to knit a scarf in seed stitch (K1 P1) and do one colour on the knits and one colour on the purls, but I am not sure where to place the yarn that is not in the stitch. Do I bring both colours to the front when I purl, and then both to the back when I knit? And if I do bring both colours to the front, do I need to twist them or anything before I purl?

You could try using swimmers ear drops, which dislodge trapped water inside the ear and allow the water to come out quickly. They also prevent any ear infections which could be caused by trapped water and you can buy them online or perhaps at a local pharmacy. A question about blue junipers?

My son and grandkids planted 3 upright blue junipers last fall. They are 4 feet tall. They dropped them into a space almost the exact same size as the root ball so that there was no room to pack earth around them so they put the extra soil somewhere else. They are not experienced gardeners. I did not discover this until a few weeks later when they started to lean in the wind and then sat crooked in the hole. By then it was bitter cold and the ground was almost frozen. They have started to look yellowish on the lower half. Should I replace them? Are they too far gone?
