probably not, the problem with the english national team is the footballing culture they are raised on. players arent trained to keep the ball or play it, they arent encouraged to use their talent. english players are successful for their clubs because they can express themselves alongside a bunch of continental talent, but for england, there is too much tactical rigidity. it isnt about the quality of players but the way they are asked and were asked previously to play
