Should we liberals concede the abortion issue so that the conservatives are left with no moral standing at all

This is the ONLY issue where I can sympathize with them, and it is powerful enough to make people who would otherwise vote Democratic vote the other way. Their other issues are either about wrecking the 1st Amendment or based on bigotry, so abortion is all they really have. If we take it away from them ... will they finally wilt and die?
