Release from county jail l.a.?

If you were sentenced to 365 days in L.A. county jail, but you went and did a 90 day program at chino state prison. does the time spent at chino prison count towards your 365 days in county jail. Because if so would someone who has been incarcerated for 5 months 14 days be released soon?
