What are some tips for good posture?

One of the things about posture is that it is a direct look into what a person secretly thinks of them self. So if you want to improve your posture that means that you are thinking better of yourself and that is good. The old adage of walking around the house with a book still works. Where the head and neck go the rest of the body follows. Another is to bring the shoulders backwards trying to have them touch each other and then attempt to pull them down to the waist. Try standing against a wall. Move the feet out until the lower back is flat against the wall. Now walk away from the wall maintaining that position. For a comprehensive evaluation of posture see a physical therapist would would do that and tell you what muscles need to be strengthened and what muscles have to be lengthened to achieve a better posture. If you don't want to do that see about a Pilate's or yoga cl. They are also good for helping to balance out ones posture. Most of all be proud of yourself and somehow you will find that your posture has improved.
