How is the qol as being a teacher? especially an elementary teacher?

i wanna be a teacher, but i have other career choices in mind. i know the pay sucks, but id rather do something i love and get paid nothing than be a drone in an office not being happy..so..yeah..oh and if you have other career advice or other options, please feel free to tell me. also, if those of you dont know what "qol" means, it stands for "Quality Of Life" as in how it is, how you're treated, etc.
