Brisbane,Australia.... Is the humidity very bad or is the weather nice to live in, in general?

I am currently looking at where to emigrate to at present with my wife and children. We will soon have the Australian Visa and are trying to decide on either Brisbane,Perth or Melbourne.We like the sound of Brisbane but people are telling us it is too humid and can get uncomfortable. Please be honest with your views as it's a big move.
