Brand new xbox...games will play on my friends xbox but not mine?

i just got a brand new 360 and have tried to play NCAA and Madden on it but it shows that the disc is unreadable for madden and on NCAA it is stuck on the EA Sports screen...i took the games to my friends house and they played perfectly...this is the second xbox and it is giving me the same problem.
