Police officer in Ontario?

I am a 27 year old, who resides in the city of mississauga (peel region) ont,i completed the police foundations diploma and have several years of investigational and security experience. When i was 25 i was charged with impaired driving. Since then i have completed my 1 year driving prohibition, before the charge i was a volunteer with big brothers, since my charge i have voluntered with MADD canada and have enlisted in the reserves so that i can better myself after my charge, my question is, will still be able to be hired on to the police service, would they look past my indescretions and foolish mistake, i have since quit drinking. (i apoligize for all the background jargon prior to my question, thought it might me relevant info in case i get a response from an invidual within law enforcemrnt in the provience of ontario) thanks for your help
