Is a motorcyle with EFI more reliable than a motorcycle with carburetors?

I'm debating on whether or not to buy a 2009 Triumph Bonneville that has EFI or a 2008 model with carburetors. I've always heard horror stories about carbed bikes but want to know for sure. I've heard that carbed bikes can be flooded much easier than EFI bikes. I just wanted to find out the pros and cons before making a purchase. Thanks.
