Failed pre-BCT APFT.?

I took the pre-BCT APFT and failed the situp portion. Therefore I won't be able to be promoted up a rank (E-2). I'm very disappointed in myself with the results. I wanted to know if there was a way to get promoted while in BCT? If I ped APFT in there will I get a chance to be promoted? Thanks in advanced.
